A boy and his dogs

Hugo and Hilde were having a little Q time with Charlie this morning. He must have had something tasty on his chin. Hilde's girth by the way is now 30.5 ".

Hilde is not usually a digger but there must be something in the earth she could not resist. Do you think she is trying to get her den ready for her pups?

Hilde's girth

We measured Hilde's enormous girth today. At 6 weeks she measure 29 inches. She is starting to look like she swallowed a bowling ball.

Getting Comfy

Most of the photos of Hilde these days seem to be taken in our bedroom. I think it must be the cool ceiling fan above the bed that she is appreciating.

The Growing Belly

At close to 5 weeks, Hilde is definitely starting to look pregnant. Her belly does not normally hang down below her skirt. She had a very thorough grooming earlier in the week when her belly was revealed!!!

Hilde and Cutter

Hilde has been bred and we are expecting pups in June. Cutter is the lucky father. Cutter is a really sweet boy. He has an amazing temperment and has sired many Canadian Champions. Check out his web page on the Dinsdale Web Site. He is an impressive boy (Hilde thought so too). We are expecting both black and pepper and salt pups from this breeding. It is going to be an exciting summer in our house.
